About Us
Founded in 2015 in Kent, UK, the Financial Inclusion Advocacy Centre (FIAC) is an international microfinance think tank dedicated to advancing financial inclusion worldwide. In November 2015, we expanded our reach by opening our first branch office in Accra, Ghana.
With a team of 25 professionals across the UK and Ghana, FIAC operates through three specialized technical units:
- Ratings & Appraisals
- Technical Assistance
- Research & Innovations
As an independent support centre, we are committed to driving innovation, promoting transparency, and enhancing outreach to underserved communities. Our mission is to strengthen the microfinance industry by improving performance and fostering sustainable financial solutions.
FIAC is further supported by three expatriate microfinance experts from Europe and the U.S., who provide technical expertise, strategic guidance, and operational support in areas such as public relations and finance.
Under the leadership of our CEO, Mr. Godfrey Lord Kwesi Crentsil, FIAC continues to champion initiatives that empower individuals and businesses through inclusive financial systems.
